
Today I was feeling very tired, irritated and all other negative emotions. I had to make plans, arrange and organize certain things. I wasn’t feeling that good.
Don’t we have moments in our life where we feel that we are at a space where we cannot decide anything because we are confused about what to choose, where to go, what could fall right and what could backfire? What do we do at that time?
Mostly when it comes to myself, I either do something I like for example a hobby or I stay silent.
I like listening to music a lot. It helps me enhance my mood and feel better. I specifically choose mix of slow to fast paced music. I hear the music and it helps me elevate my mood and many times the beats help me smile and even dance to the tune.
Did you know that we have to develop interest to different types of music? Did you also know that certain type, beats, frequency of music are healing?
There is no such thing as favorite music, our brain responds to the tune, beats and frequency of the music. That is how music can help changing how we feel. To give you an example: any festival songs make us dance to the tune even if we don’t intend to dance to the tune, certain songs make us cry and certain songs calm us down, isn’t it? This happens because those tunes, sounds and beats are created in a way that has effect on your mood.
Music along with some movement and individually helps in:
- Elevating your mood
- Setting the tone for the rest o your day
- Helps you feel energetic
- Releases pent up emotions
- Helps in stress management
