I am Jinisha Bhatt, founder of Samvid. It is rooted in the belief that when awareness develops within, change naturally unfolds around us. I work with individuals and groups to help them become more aware of their emotions and inner experiences, so they can access their inner resources and grow emotionally, mentally, and physically.

What makes Samvid different from other therapy services?
Samvid combines evidence-based psychotherapy and expressive art therapy. Blending visual expression, reflection or mindfulness if needed with conversations so that emotions can be understood. We focus on helping you understand and observe your patterns so that you can respond differently in daily life and relationships.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Therapy is not only for major crises, you can come even when you feel emotionally stuck, are overthinking, feeling stressed, feel distant in relationships, or feel that there are repeated patterns or reactions that you cannot handle. Therapy helps bringing clarity if things keep repeating within or outside you.
What is art therapy and how is it used at Samvid?
It's all three, blended thoughtfully. We use therapy for emotional healing and processing, coaching for goal-setting and forward movement, and mentoring for lived wisdom and guidance. This evolved approach gives you the best of three worlds—tools to heal, wings to soar, and strength to thrive from within.
What if I don’t know how to explain what I am feeling?
Do I need any prior experience or artistic skill to attend the workshops?
Absolutely not. The workshops are designed for reflection not performance. The activities planned are simple and facilitated. There is no pressure of creating anything that is the reason you can focus on understanding your experiences. You can participate through reflection and activities at your own pace, no pressure to speak or fear of being judged.
Are the sessions confidential?
Yes. Everything shared in a therapy session remains between us. It will not be shared with family members, partners or employers without your permission. Exceptions will only be in cases where there is a legally required safety situation. You'll have a safe, private space to explore whatever you need.
Can couples come even if only one partner feels there is a problem?
Absolutely. Usually one partner initiates therapy first. We focus on understanding patterns between the couple rather than blaming or taking sides. Many couples begin this way.
What should I expect in a first session?
The first session is about creating a safe space and understanding what brought you here. We'll explore your current challenges, what you hope to gain, and how we can work together. There's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with. It's your space.
Do you offer online sessions or only in person?
Currently, we are offering only online sessions, we will soon be available for in person sessions in Mumbai.
